Where Science Meets Sizzle

My journey has been a delicious exploration of the world around me, fueled by a passion for baking, cooking, gardening, spices, and the underlying principles of science that bring them all to life. From the perfect rise of a sourdough loaf to the vibrant colors of a freshly harvested garden, I find joy in understanding the intricate processes that transform raw ingredients into something extraordinary. This curiosity, coupled with a desire to create unique and memorable experiences, has led me to pursue formal training as a mixologist. I'm fascinated by the alchemy of flavor, the delicate balance of ingredients, and the art of crafting cocktails that tell a story. Join me as I delve deeper into the world of mixology, sharing my experiments, discoveries, and creations along the way. Get ready for a blend of science, spice, and a whole lot of spirit!

what is mixology

A mixologist is essentially an expert or enthusiast in the art of cocktail creation, going beyond basic bartending to explore the science, history, and creative potential of mixed drinks. They possess a deep knowledge of ingredients, flavor pairings, techniques, and even the history of cocktails. While a bartender serves drinks, a mixologist delves deeper into the craft, often inventing new recipes and pushing the boundaries of traditional mixology.
